Orthopedic Physician

Join our team as an Orthopedic Physician, providing care in an inpatient setting with a focus on general orthopedic cases. This position offers the opportunity to work with a manageable patient volume and a supportive environment.

Job Description

• Start date: ASAP pending credentialing
• 7 shifts per month ongoing
• Average patient volume: 10 per day
• 24-hour call - can take from hotel with a 30-minute response time
• General orthopedic call with no trauma designation
• Case mix usually includes fractures, ED consults, and inpatient consults
• Procedures include arthroscopy, total joint replacement, joint revision or repair, percutaneous disc surgery, hand, and hip

Requirements

• Board certified or truly board eligible
• Active North Carolina license
• EMR: EPIC
