Diagnostic Radiology with Mammography

Join our team in Grass Valley, CA, as we seek a Diagnostic Radiologist with Mammography expertise to address a scheduling need in our outpatient clinic.

Job Description

• Reading studies of all modalities in addition to diagnostic mammograms with breast biopsies
• Required procedures include reading mammograms, PET scans, and performing breast biopsies
• Work schedule is Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 4 PM
• No on-call responsibilities
• Average monthly volumes include:
  • 13 procedures (wire loc, biopsy, etc.)
  • 225 screening mammograms
  • 30 diagnostic mammograms
• Primarily needed for mammography and breast biopsies; ability to read PET scans and other studies (CT, MRI, X-ray, US) is appreciated

Requirements

• Start date in January, working one week every other month for up to 6-9 months, with the specific week determined by the schedule of the other physician

Support Staff

• Radiology techs, US techs, and other support staff available
