Non-Invasive Cardiologist

Join Carroll Hospital's affiliated multi-specialty group and be part of a physician network that provides skilled, compassionate care for patients in a tight-knit community. As an employed Non-Invasive Cardiologist with Carroll Health Group, you will join three board-certified, non-invasive cardiologists and three PA-Cs in a well-established, growing practice. This opportunity allows for consultative care of common and complex cardiovascular symptoms and disease in both a community hospital and outpatient practice setting (with the ability to be solely inpatient if desired). Eligible candidates will be responsible for call coverage only ten weekends out of the year and will be included in equal weekday and holiday call rotation with other physicians of the practice.

Job Description

• Provide consultative care for common and complex cardiovascular symptoms and diseases.
• Order, perform, and interpret appropriate tests, including transthoracic echocardiograms, transesophageal echocardiograms, exercise treadmill testing, and EKGs.
• Discuss diagnoses with patients, explain treatment options, and provide advice on medications, lifestyle and dietary changes, and other preventative measures.
• Work with and supervise cardiology PA-Cs, and collaborate with admitting medicine hospitalists, ED staff, and intensivists.
• Remain up-to-date on current best practices, developments, trends, research, and technology.
• Maintain timely completion of patient encounter documentation and billing.

Requirements

• Board-certified or board-eligible in non-invasive cardiology.
• Completed a cardiology fellowship; 2023 graduates will be considered.
