    Endocrinologist

    Join Carroll Hospital's affiliated multi-specialty group and be part of a physician network that provides skilled, compassionate care for patients in a tight-knit community. As an Endocrinologist with Carroll Health Group, you will join two board-certified, established endocrinologists in a growing outpatient practice. This opportunity offers the ability to specialize in the management of diabetes and treat thyroid, pituitary, and osteoporosis issues in the outpatient setting. Call rotation is 1:3 with the vast majority being phone call coverage only.

    Job Description

    • Examine, diagnose, and treat or recommend courses of treatment for adult diseases, with particular emphasis on disorders of the endocrine system and metabolism in the outpatient practice as well as provide inpatient consults on a rotating basis.
    • Advise, order, and perform appropriate tests and interpret results.
    • Discuss diagnoses with patients, explain treatment options, and provide advice on medications, lifestyle and dietary changes, and other preventative measures.
    • Carry out follow-up appointments, monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans and medications, update patient records, and make referrals as needed.
    • Remain up-to-date on current best practices, developments, trends, research, and technology.
    • Attain timely completion of patient encounter documentation and billing.

    Requirements

    • BC/BE in internal medicine and endocrinology
    • Completed Endocrinology Fellowship. Will consider 2023 fellowship graduates.
