Pulmonary/Critical Care/Sleep Physician

Seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Pulmonary/Critical Care/Sleep Physician to join the department within one of the largest physician-owned and governed multi-specialty clinics in the Midwest.

Job Description

• Join an elite team of 10 board-certified physicians (8 Pulmonary/Critical Care and 2 Pulmonary/Critical Care/Sleep) receiving national and statewide recognition, along with 3 advanced practice providers, 5 respiratory therapists, and a tenured nursing staff.
• Work in a progressive, collegial, patient- and partner-centered atmosphere.
• Utilize a full-service endoscopy lab with interventional capability and the option to add new and innovative approaches to care.
• Access a state-of-the-art Sleep Center featuring 6 private rooms.
• Manage a busy mixed medical-surgical ICU with 24-hour coverage by senior Internal Medicine residents.
• Participate in a community-based teaching hospital with Internal Medicine, General Surgery, Family Medicine, and Pediatrics residencies teaching in ICU, pulmonary inpatient service, and outpatient office.
• Conduct in-office pulmonary function tests, lab, and radiology (including CT).
• Work at a hyperbaric oxygen center.
• Engage in opportunities to take part in research studies.
• Follow a call schedule averaging 1:11 onsite overnights and 1:11 weekends.

Requirements

• Board certification (or board eligibility) in Pulmonary/Critical Care and Sleep Medicine is required.
