    Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility NP Provider

    The Division of Obstetrics & Gynecology at MetroHealth Medical Center, Case Western Reserve University is seeking applications for a Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Nurse Practitioner to join our division.

    Job Description

    • Educates patients about their fertility options.
    • Works with physicians to perform physical examinations, ultrasounds, and scans.
    • Collects and sends blood samples for testing.
    • Communicates with patients, conducts interviews, and gathers medical histories.
    • Delivers direct patient care consistent with the advanced practice registered nurse's education, experience, and certification, in collaboration with a physician, which includes diagnosis, management, and/or referral of health care issues.
    • Promotes consumer, family, and community health through preventative health care actions and through patient advocacy.
    • Manages complex illnesses and/or delivers specialty care.

    Requirements

    • Completion of an accredited Women's Health Nurse Practitioner program (other licensures accepted when paired with at least one year of OB/GYN experience).
    • At least one year of advanced practice experience or RN with OB/GYN and/or REI experience.
    • At least one year of REI experience.
    • Active, unrestricted Ohio APN license.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Three years of experience in REI as a nurse practitioner or registered nurse.
    • Women's Health nursing experience: At least one year in an OB/GYN setting.
