About the job
Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon
Kaiser Permanente / The Permanente Medical Group is seeking a full-time BE/BC Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon to join our team in the beautiful East Bay of Northern California. This is a rare opportunity to develop a purely pediatric orthopedic practice within TPMG. Our pediatric orthopedic practice is growing, and we are searching for a candidate with interest in a diverse practice, with needs in pediatric foot, hip, deformity, neuromuscular, syndromic, and fracture care.
The position will be based at the Oakland medical center, where pediatric subspecialists are part of a world-class multi-specialty orthopedic group that provides all facets of orthopedic subspecialty care (pediatrics, complex trauma, arthroplasty, hip preservation, musculoskeletal oncology, trauma, hand, and sports). At the Oakland medical center, our team benefits from collaboration with multiple pediatric subspecialties including hospitalist pediatrics, pediatric surgery, pediatric anesthesiology, and the full spectrum of pediatric medical subspecialists. Our team participates in multidisciplinary care clinics for our populations with skeletal dysplasia, cerebral palsy, spina bifida, and neurofibromatosis. We have dedicated and daily operating room block time for urgent pediatric surgery.
Our Pediatric Orthopedic practice includes a rich variety of patients with referrals from 15 regional orthopedics groups and pediatricians throughout the greater SF Bay Area. We are active in resident education and support the San Francisco Orthopedic Residency program.
Full-time annual salary range is $600,000 to $625,020 plus additional potential incentives up to $73,080. Salary range listed is based on a full-time schedule. Reduced schedules with pro-rated compensation may be available. Some incentive opportunities are estimates based on potential premium pay.
