Cardiovascular Surgeon

Cardiac Surgeon opportunity in Sacramento. The Permanente Medical Group/Kaiser Permanente of Northern California seeks a cardiac surgeon to join the team in Sacramento, California, which is one of three main cardiac surgery centers of excellence in Northern California. We are seeking a talented, ambitious, and team-oriented candidate. Prior experience of 2-3+ years is highly preferred, but all qualified candidates will be considered. Must be ABTS Board Certified or Board Eligible.

Job Description

• Full-time position
• This opportunity is open because we have a senior surgeon retiring from the group in 2026.
• We are seeking Board Certified/Board Eligible Cardiovascular Surgeons preferably skilled and proficient in minimally invasive surgery (MIS), aortic surgery, and heart failure surgery (at this location we are not seeking surgeons requiring/seeking LVAD procedures)
  • Experience preferred and surgeons completing training in 2025/2026 are also encouraged to apply
• Our Surgical Staff at Sacramento is composed of 4 Cardiovascular Surgeons
• Call is 1 in 4

Full-time annual salary range is $566,580 to $580,020 with additional potential incentives up to $35,450.
