Family Medicine Provider

New opportunity for full or part-time Family Medicine providers. This position is all outpatient, allowing for a flexible schedule of 3-5 weekdays. The practice consists of 5 physicians, 1 PA, and 1 NP, and started as an Internal Medicine-only practice before adding 2 Family Medicine providers.

Job Description

• Office-based practice, outpatient-only
• Work with one Medical Assistant
• See patients per day
• Part-time would be 3 days per week
• EMR: Athena
• Same day or next-day appointments with online scheduling
• Tight coordination of care with a team focus on wellness exams and a great hospitalist program
• Customized electronic health record systems that focus on clinical issues, with an informaticist available to help develop templates on Athena
• 20,000 square foot clinic, with diagnostic imaging, physical therapy, lab, and specialty space
• Radiologist on-site with CT, MR, digital mammography, x-ray, 2 ultrasounds, Dexa, spirometry, Holter, and GXT
• Dermatologist next door 2.5 days per week
• Specialists on site include Cardiology, Colon & Rectal Surgery, OBGYN, Orthopedics, Physical Therapy, Gastroenterology, General Surgery, LAB, and Urology
• Patient demographics: Blue Cross 40%, Medicare 50%, Commercial 10%, Medicaid as secondary only
• Typical day: patients scheduled from 8:00 - 11:30 a.m. or 1:00 - 4:00 p.m.
• 1:7 call on holidays and weekends
