This North Florida health system is currently seeking a board certified/board eligible inpatient psychiatrist to join the Jacksonville facility and become part of Florida's largest healthcare system with 11,000 physician colleagues.

Job Description

• All adult/geriatric psychiatry: Board certified or eligible in Psychiatry and comfortable caring for adults and geriatric psychiatry patients (as well as ECT)
• Perform rounding and medication management
• 7 on / 7 off schedule
• Supported by a team of certified psychiatric nurse practitioners
• The health system provides comprehensive behavioral health services by offering inpatient care to adults and the older adult population
• Our 27-bed Pavilion unit is dedicated to adults 18 years and older
• Our Senior Pavilion is a 14-bed unit which provides care to the geriatric population, ages 55 and older
• Additional onsite Intensive Outpatient / Partial Hospitalization Program available 5 days a week to transition patients
