Emergency Medicine Coverage

I am working with Baptist Health Emergency Room and Urgent Care-Glenmary in Louisville, KY, and they are looking for some temporary Emergency Medicine coverage over the next several months.

Job Description

• Non-Designated Trauma Center with 12 ER beds
• Annual ER Volume: 20K
• Coverage needed from January 2026 ongoing
• 5-10 shifts per month of coverage
• Shift times: 7a-7p and 7p-7a
• Both day and night shift coverage required
• Average of 60 patients per 24 hours
• Average of 0-2 patients per hour for night shift
• 70% Urgent Care and 30% Emergency Medicine
• APP coverage for 16 hours daily
• Onsite Labs
• Onsite Imaging - XRay and CT
• EMR: EPIC

Requirements

• FM/IM EM providers must have active BLS, ACLS, and PALS CPR certifications
• Candidates must have an active Kentucky license
• Candidates must be Board Certified in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine

Compensation

• $275 per hour for FM/IM ER candidates
• $310 per hour for ABEM candidates
