Radiology Locum Coverage

We are currently working with RadFirst at Ascension Alexian Brothers hospital in Elk Grove Village, IL. They are seeking some ongoing Radiology locum coverage. They deliver specialty care and 24/7 emergency care.

Job Description

• Dates Needed: May 31st, June 6th, June 9th, 13th, June 23rd, 28th, & June 30th
• Hours: 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM
• Primary reading Diagnostic Radiology with Interventional Radiology procedures
• Reads include: DX Reads, including plain films, CTs, MRIs
• Occasional CTP (if a candidate does not read profusions, they will be paired with someone who does, while also being encouraged to train in this area)
• Light Interventional Radiology procedures; some days may have up to 6, while others may have none
• Procedures: Myelograms, lumbar punctures (when done with fluoroscopic guidance), retrograde urethrograms, arthrograms, joint injections (when done with fluoroscopic guidance)
• All GI fluoroscopy cases: Video swallows (also known as modified barium swallow studies), upper GI series, lower GI series (barium enemas), full contrast lower GI studies, & air contrast (double-contrast) lower GI studies
