We are working with Peachtree Immediate Care in the greater Atlanta, GA area, and they are seeking Urgent Care locum coverage. Peachtree Immediate Care serves the community by providing extended operating hours on weekdays and weekends.

Job Description

• Seeking coverage starting in September
• Shift time: 8 AM - 8 PM (12-hour shifts)
• Over 50+ locations to choose from
• Open 7 days a week
• Average patients: 4 per hour
• Must be comfortable with all ages
• 75% are new patients
• Working as a solo provider
• Must have at least 2 years of urgent care experience
• Typical cases/procedures: Flu, lacerations, sore throat, UTI, diarrhea, stitch check, medication reactions, STD treatment, suturing, splinting, etc.
• Must be able to recognize and read EKG changes and X-rays
• Lab review is required
• Drug screen is done by the medical assistant
• Must be board certified
• Must have a Georgia license and DEA
• DOT certification is preferred but not required
• EMR: Practice Velocity
