    Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

    Are you a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant? The Toledo Clinic is seeking a full-time dedicated professional to join our practice. You will play a crucial part in diagnosing, treating, and managing health issues, while working closely with our experienced physicians and providing top-notch patient care.

    Job Description

    • Obtain comprehensive medical histories, diagnose, and treat health conditions and chronic diseases, and provide evidence-based treatments.
    • Order and interpret diagnostic studies, including lab tests and imaging, to facilitate accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
    • Prescribe medications and other therapeutic interventions as needed to manage patient conditions effectively.
    • Promote health and wellness by educating patients about their conditions, treatment options, and self-care practices.
    • Work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
    • Advocate for preventative care and wellness, supporting patients in managing their health proactively.
    • Research medical findings and studies and incorporate relevant findings into patient care strategies.
    • Select cost-effective diagnostic and treatment options to ensure quality care while considering financial implications.
    • Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall functioning and goals of the practice.
    • Provide direction and oversight to staff regarding patient care practices and clinical procedures.

    Requirements

    • In-depth knowledge of nurse practitioner or physician assistant theory, practice, and medical care.
    • Proficiency in using medical equipment and adhering to OSHA regulations.
    • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong ability to analyze patient needs and provide effective solutions.
    • Demonstrated reliability in arriving at work punctually, in professional attire, and completing tasks within established time frame.

    Education & Certification

    • Master's degree from an accredited institution in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies.
    • Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with current CPR certification required.
