Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

TinkBird Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to assist with upcoming Emergency Department coverage. This locum role offers flexible scheduling, a collaborative team environment, and the opportunity to work in a supportive community-based hospital setting.

New providers must be available for a brief orientation the day prior to their first scheduled shift. Coverage is needed as soon as credentialing is complete.

Job Description

• Coverage Dates & Times:

  • 7a - 7p Shifts: November 2, December 6, December 14, December 31
  • 7p - 7a Shifts: November 2, November 6, November 26, December 26
  • 12p - 12a Shifts: November 26, November 30, December 29, December 31

• Inpatient only candidates must have Emergency Department inpatient experience within the last 12 months.

• Established team of physicians and APPs providing 24/7 coverage.

Requirements

• Active and unrestricted North Carolina license with NC DEA.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS/APLS certifications (American Heart Association only).
• Must be comfortable with ED coverage and inpatient responsibilities.
• Minimum of 12 months recent ED inpatient experience required.
