Dental Hygienist

A Dental Hygienist is needed in Connell/Othello, WA. Titan Placement Group invites you to explore an opportunity in the beautiful Columbia Basin region. Job Description

• Perform preliminary patient evaluations, including intra/extra oral exams and documentation
• Monitor and record vital signs during visits
• Conduct health history assessments every 6 months
• Take impressions and study models
• Accurately record probing and monitor progress bi-annually
• Perform a variety of dental procedures, including:
  • Placing and removing matrixes
  • Polishing amalgams and performing deep scaling
  • Placing composite restorations
  • Removing sutures and providing fluoride treatments
  • Conducting preventive care and oral hygiene instruction
• Utilize cavitron and other dental hygiene tools as needed
• Work under general supervision with adherence to RCW 18.29 regulations
• Assist with scheduling, patient recalls, and confirming appointments
• Participate in community dental health outreach programs
• Promote a positive work culture and uphold clinic policies and procedures

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Dental Hygiene program
• Active Dental Hygienist license in the state of Washington
• CPR certification or ability to obtain within designated timeframe
• Strong knowledge of periodontal disease treatment and oral hygiene practices
• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
• Dental Hygienist will be required to float between two facilities as needed

Benefits

• Base hourly rate between $34 and $46 per hour
• Additional encounter bonus of $20 per patient in clinic. If conducting a school-based screening, an extra $10 per patient. Encounter bonus kicks in right away - no quota.
