Poinciana Medical Center is a four-story, 150,000 square foot hospital with 70 private beds and a six-bed private ICU. This facility provides a full range of acute care services including emergency services, inpatient and outpatient diagnostic imaging, inpatient and outpatient surgery, cardiac catheterization, laboratory, and a full range of support services. From outpatient and inpatient procedures to minimally invasive treatments performed using the latest HD video equipment, Poinciana Medical Center's skilled team of surgeons specialize in a range of areas, including endoscopy procedures, gastroenterology, general surgery, urology, vascular, ophthalmology, podiatry, and pulmonology. This is a MD only care model where the anesthesiologist performs 100% of his/her cases.

Job Description

• Location: Kissimmee, FL
• Duration: Ongoing while hiring
• Board Requirement: Board-certified/Board-eligible
• Schedule: Full time starting at 7:00 am
• Shifts: Varied
• Call: 1 in 3 call rotation
• Procedures: General surgery, ortho, endo, gastroenterology, urology, vascular, ophthalmology, pulmonology, and B&B. No OB/GYN, cardiac, neuro, peds, trauma, or thoracic.
• ORs and Case Volume: There are only 2 ORs
• EMR Type: Meditech
• Trauma Level: N/A
• License Requirement: Able to present with pending license
• Privileges: 30 days - 60 days
