Join our team in Lewisburg, PA, as an Emergency Medicine Physician starting in August. This position offers a supportive environment with a focus on patient care.

Job Description

• Coverage needed per month includes 24-hour shifts with no call required.
• Shifts range from 9-11 hours, including Monday to Friday and Saturday to Sunday.
• Support staff includes APP support from 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM, with a provider in triage from 10 AM to 10 PM. Typical specialties available on call 24/7 include ICU, Surgery, OB, Urology, Ortho, Stroke, and Psych.
• The department is a 19-bed non-trauma designated community emergency department with most specialties available on call 24/7.
• The average patient volume is about 2 patients per hour.
• The patient age group includes all ages.
• The EMR/documentation system used is Epic.

Requirements

• Board certified or eligible in Emergency Medicine.
• State license required: Pennsylvania.
• Certifications required: BLS/ACLS/PALS if not EM board certified.
• DEA required: Yes.
• Minimum experience required: Completion of an EM residency program.
• Vaccines are mandatory.
