Neonatology Nurse Practitioner

Join our dynamic team as we expand our support in the North, pulling resources from Milwaukee. This need is specifically at our Main Milwaukee Campus.

Job Description

• Ongoing coverage needed through the end of 2025 and potentially into the following 12 weeks of 2026.
• Looking for full-time coverage with 2 candidates to split the schedule; the SBAR submitted was for 2.7 FTE of locum help. We will take what we can get and split it differently if needed. Our thought was for three 0.9 FTEs.
• Options for scheduling include 3x12-hour shifts or 2x24-hour shifts.
• Shifts will be 12-hour days from 6 am to 6 pm and 15-hour nights from 4 pm to 7 am, with overlap for sign-outs.
• Every third weekend plus additional shifts as needed; weekends included. However, locum would be filling in shifts after our full-time staff has scheduled. If locum wants more weekends or to clump shifts, we can try to accommodate.
• Coverage will be in 12-week blocks.
• There will be 9 NNPs on during the day and 2 NNPs on during the night, building up to 3 NNPs on nights. A request for 7 nights per 12-week schedule is made; if locum desires more, we will accommodate.
• Responsibilities include both inborn and outborn cases.
• BLS and NRP certifications are required.
• DEA certification is required.
• Will need to be dual credentialed with Froedert Memorial Hospital in Milwaukee.
