Infectious Disease Physician
Reading Hospital is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Infectious Disease Physician to join our growing, collegial team. The role is approximately 75% inpatient and 25% outpatient, offering a dynamic mix of clinical responsibilities. We are looking for a collaborative physician who thrives in a team environment and enjoys teaching medical students and residents.
You’ll be supported by a dedicated team that includes:
- Two Registered Nurses (RNs)
- One Medical Assistant (MA)
- Two Patient Service Representatives (PSRs)
- One OPAT Pharmacist
- One 340B Pharmacist
Job Description
- Join a team of six physicians, one PA-C, and two CRNPs
- Opportunities for clinical research with support from our Clinical Trials Office
- Travel Medicine services offered in the outpatient setting
- Shared call with nine other providers
- Active involvement in medical education
Requirements
- Candidates must be BE/BC in Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease
- Candidates coming out of training are encouraged to apply!
- A valid PA Medical License or the ability to obtain one is required
