    Practice Physician

    This position delivers, coordinates, and provides direct patient care and emergency services. It also investigates new techniques and practices, serves on administrative committees to provide high-quality health care services that meet TriHealth standards of dignified and compassionate patient care, collaborates with other physicians regarding quality patient care, formulates records and reports, and monitors quality assurance programs to ensure that all services provided are performed with respect for others. This position also participates in educational sessions and professional conferences to share expertise and enhance the quality of patient health services. Other responsibilities may include clinical supervision/precepting of residents and/or staff.

    Requirements

    • Medical Degree or Doctorate of Osteopathy
    • Current unrestricted Federal & state DEA certification
    • Board Certified in department specialty
    • Current unrestricted State Medical License
    • 3-4 years in a related field

    Specialized Knowledge

    • Evaluate occupational health-related injuries including new and revisits
    • Evaluate fit for duty and complex cases
    • Work with key stakeholders
    • Conduct FMLA/disability return to work evaluations
    • Perform medical surveillance exams
