St. Mary Medical Center, a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is looking for an RN to join our team!

Job Description

• Schedule: Per diem tier I, 12 Hour Days 7am-7:30pm
• Tier I Requirements: 36 hours minimum per 6 week schedule
• Provide quality of care and be responsible for the direct and/or indirect care of patients assigned utilizing professional nursing skills and knowledge
• Assess learning needs, readiness to learn, and identify actual or potential barriers to learning, incorporating the patient's education into daily activities based on age, cultural, and spiritual values
• Document admission assessment/reassessment, plan, interventions, and medication use, and monitor its effects and outcomes according to policy
• Utilize the information management system to enhance communication and document changes in patients' conditions to all appropriate individuals
• Prioritize work assignments based on changing situations
• Communicate transfer of patient responsibility and pertinent information at the bedside and during interprofessional rounds
• Recognize and integrate patient special needs, individualizing care, and being knowledgeable in abuse recognition and referral
• Include pain management and supportive care issues in the plan of care
• Adhere to infection control standards specific to patient care and promote and maintain a safe, clean, and orderly environment
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• ASN required, BSN preferred
• PA RN License
• AHA BLS
