    Registered Nurse

    St. Mary Medical Center, a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is looking for a Registered Nurse to join our team! This position is part-time with a 12-hour night shift from 7 PM to 7:30 AM.

    Job Description

    • Responsible for the direct and/or indirect care of patients assigned utilizing professional nursing skills and knowledge.
    • Assess learning needs, readiness to learn, and identify actual or potential barriers to learning, incorporating the patient's education into daily activities based on age, cultural, and spiritual values.
    • Document admission assessment/reassessment, plan, interventions, and medication use, and monitor its effects and outcomes according to policy.
    • Utilize the information management system to enhance communication and document changes in patients' conditions to all appropriate individuals.
    • Prioritize work assignments based on changing situations.
    • Communicate transfer of patient responsibility and pertinent information at the bedside and during interprofessional rounds.
    • Recognize and integrate patient special needs, individualizing care, and being knowledgeable in abuse recognition and referral.
    • Adhere to infection control standards specific to patient care and promote and maintain a safe, clean, and orderly environment.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Requirements

    • ASN required / BSN preferred
    • PA RN License
    • BLS - issued by the American Heart Association
    • Chemo certification preferred
