Job Description
- Supervise and coordinate care in a manner to ensure that patient needs are provided efficiently and in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
- Possess the knowledge to safely apply theory and practice using the Nursing Process of Assessment, Diagnosis, Planning, Implementation, and Evaluation.
- Ability to work with all age groups including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.
- Ability to work with Paragon applications (Electronic Medical Record), as well as other computer systems for patient care.
Requirements
- Virginia, United States Registered Nurse and current RN license required.
- BLS required upon hire.
- ACLS, PALS, and Advanced Stroke Course are required within 6 months of hire.
- Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) preferred.
- At least two years of clinical experience is required in critical care, ED, PACU, or similar.
- Must respond within 60 minutes if placed on call.
