    • A Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role will have the ability to solve problems effectively and apply critical-thinking skills to provide quality patient care and improve patient outcomes.
    • Familiarity with ICU monitoring equipment and application of that knowledge to the patient's condition is essential.
    • Possess the knowledge to use the PYXIS medication delivery system while coordinating within the healthcare team in the safe delivery of medications.
    • Ensure completion of assigned workloads and move to unassigned work at own initiative.
    • Work as scheduled, without unplanned absences.

    Requirements

    • Current RN license required, VA or multi-state.
    • One year of clinical nursing experience in critical care or medical/surgical preferred.
    • BLS required within 30 days of hire.
    • ACLS, PALS, Advanced Stroke Certification preferred.
