Schedule: Days (7 am - 7 pm) PRN. Job Type: In-person. Job Location: Galax, VA.

Job Description

• Assist the nursing staff in preparing the patient for diagnostic and therapeutic treatment.
• Complete proper reporting when there is an abnormal occurrence.
• Provide input to the RN to update care plans and meet individual patient needs.
• Observe patients and report changes in the patient's condition to the nursing staff.
• Provide daily patient care, e.g., bathing, peri-care, personal care, and clothing changes. Adhere to department standards in personal care.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Enrollment in an RN or BSN program; must be in good standing; successful completion of the program's 1st year required.
