    Research Position in Cancer Transcriptomics

    The successful candidate will have a strong academic background and research program with strong potential for consistent funding and demonstrated expertise in assessing cancer transcriptomic data, signaling pathways, and the immune microenvironment of tumors. The candidate will have the opportunity to closely collaborate with the oncologic surgeons in the Department of Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery and the Center for Neural Circuit Mapping in the Department of Anatomy & Neurobiology to conduct genomics/epigenomics-directed translational research using head & neck cancer tissue specimens. Research funding or significant potential for research funding will be evaluated.

    The successful recruit will also participate in teaching and mentoring activities of the department, which may involve medical students, graduate students, residents, fellows, and junior faculty.
