Job Description

• Seeking a full-time BC/BE Pulmonary and Critical Care physician to join our multidisciplinary team in Pleasanton, CA, and Livermore, CA.
• Full-time is 36 patient contact hours per week.
• Work alongside three physicians in the clinic.
• Opportunity is a mix of outpatient Pulmonary Medicine, inpatient ICU/Critical Care Medicine, and inpatient Pulmonary consult service at Stanford Tri-Valley Hospital in Pleasanton, CA.
• Clinicians see approximately 14-16 patients per day.
• The outpatient clinic also includes the reading of PFTs.
• 6-8 weeks of ICU coverage per year, coverage scheduled in 1-week blocks.
• 1.5 ICU night shifts per month, 1-2 ICU swing shifts per month.
• BE/BC in Sleep Medicine a plus (but not mandatory).
• Call Schedule: 1:3 for Pulmonary coverage.
• CVICU experience required; Endobronchial Ultrasound Bronchoscopy experience preferred.
• Collaborate closely with Stanford University School of Medicine Faculty physicians.
• Teaching opportunities for Stanford Critical Care Fellows and Family Medicine Residents, to include a potential academic appointment.
• Diverse patient population.

Requirements

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine.
