University of Maryland Baltimore Washington Medical Center (UM BWMC) is actively seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist to join the largest pediatric hospitalist group within the University of Maryland Medical System, a dynamic team of 19 providers delivering outstanding care to our community.

Job Description

• Robust team model with 2 pediatricians on-site 24/7, no solo coverage
• 12-hour shifts (7a-7p / 7p-7a) with no call responsibilities
• Full-spectrum care
• Academic engagement opportunities: Teach and mentor rotating third-year pediatric residents, family medicine residents, and medical students
• Epic EMR system for seamless documentation and coordination

Requirements

• Possesses and maintains current license to practice medicine in the State of Maryland
• Possesses and maintains current Board Certification within Pediatrics or Pediatric Hospital Medicine
• Possesses and maintains current DEA or similar Narcotics and Controlled Substances Certification
• Possesses and maintains, if applicable, appropriate clinical privileges at a minimum of one UMMS affiliated acute care facility
• Demonstrates meeting minimum CME requirements for licensure and board certification
• Demonstrates appropriate qualifications and experience to perform the duties required of this position
