The Cardiovascular Division of the Department of Medicine at the University of Miami Health System is initiating a search for an Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiologist to join our dynamic team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our Advanced Heart Failure and Cardiac Transplantation programs at UHealth and the Miami Transplant Institute at Jackson Memorial Hospital.

Job Description

• Contribute to the growth and success of Advanced Heart Failure and Cardiac Transplantation programs.
• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Engage in research and education related to heart failure and transplantation.
• Manage complex heart failure cases, including transplant evaluations and post-transplant care.
• Oversee ventricular assist device (VAD) management.
• Conduct long-term follow-up of patients with advanced heart failure.

Requirements

• MD/DO required
• Board Certified or Board Eligible
• Florida License
