Dr. Arun Kumar, Division Director of Cardiovascular Medicine, invites you to join his growing team. The clinical expertise of the division's 20+ faculty members offers the most comprehensive heart and vascular services in mid-Missouri. In addition to clinical responsibilities, as an academic institution, we also have active fellowships in cardiovascular disease, electrophysiology, and interventional cardiology. We are currently recruiting for a heart failure specialist to manage congestive heart failure and complex advanced heart failure conditions. Cardiologists with expertise in heart failure will be considered.

Job Description

• Collegial faculty of 20+ physicians
• Fully accredited cardiovascular fellowships with 20+ fellows

• 17 bed Cardiac Intensive Care Unit
• Significant time for academic/educational pursuits
• Non-burdensome call responsibilities
• In-house Cardiology fellows assist with night call coverage

Requirements

• Board-certified or board-eligible candidates are considered experienced
• Applicants must have an MD/DO and be ABIM BC/BE in Cardiovascular Disease or equivalent certification
• Candidates will be evaluated on ABIM BC/BE in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology
