The Department of Surgery, Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery is seeking outstanding candidates for a clinical faculty position specializing in cardiac surgery. Promoted ranks higher than Assistant Professor are negotiable and contingent upon qualifications. The opportunity exists to quickly build a robust surgical practice.

Job Description

• Specialize in cardiac surgery within the Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery
• Build a robust surgical practice

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
• US Board Certified or US Board Eligible in Cardiothoracic Surgery
• Fellowship trained in Cardiothoracic Surgery
• Commitment to patient-centered care and a collaborative approach to working with multidisciplinary teams
• Strong commitment to patient care, teaching, and scholarly activity
• Interest in establishing a growing community practice and developing a collegial referral network for the University of Missouri
