About the job
Nocturnist
The University of Rochester health system is recruiting Nocturnists to join the current Hospital Medicine team at Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville, NY. Noyes is a 60-bed hospital and 8-bed ICU, and our team is a blend of Physician and APP colleagues. There is no call, and in-house APP coverage is available (days & nights).
Noyes Health is welcoming three full-time Pulmonary Critical Care physicians who will staff the ICU during the day (7a-7p) with tele-ICU coverage overnight to support our Nocturnist service. Noyes Health also has on-call Anesthesiology (MD and CRNA - 30 minute response). Some bedside procedures (para/thoras, central lines, intubations) are performed with assistance overnight from the PICC line team and Respiratory Therapy, with support from IR and Anesthesiology on site during the day M-F, and 24/7 back-up from General Surgery and Emergency Medicine.
Enjoy great work-life balance, competitive compensation, and generous benefits including potential loan forgiveness, working alongside supportive faculty colleagues and a tight-knit medical community. UR faculty appointment is negotiable. Depending on your circumstances, we are able to accommodate J1 visa waiver and/or H1-B sponsorship.
