    Urologist Specializing in Genitourinary Reconstruction

    The Department of Surgery and Perioperative Care at Dell Medical School in partnership with Dell Seton Medical Center is seeking a fellowship-trained Urologist specializing in Genitourinary Reconstruction to join our growing team. We are recruiting at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor, based on experience and academic record.

    We are looking for an individual with exceptional clinical skills, a commitment to teaching, and a desire to make meaningful scholarly contributions. A strong commitment to excellence and innovation in healthcare delivery, particularly for underserved populations, is essential.

    Job Description

    • Serve as a clinical expert in genitourinary reconstruction.
    • Grow and evolve the genitourinary reconstruction program within Dell Medical School’s Health Transformation Building and affiliated sites.
    • Recruit, train, and help manage a new clinical team.
    • Contribute to strategic planning and development efforts.
    • Support quality and outcomes evaluation through data infrastructure development.
    • Build and maintain partnerships with referring providers across Central Texas.
    • Teach and mentor medical students and residents in innovative care models.
    • Help develop and deliver curriculum in undergraduate and graduate medical education.
    • Promote academic and scientific inquiry among trainees and colleagues.
    • Collaborate with other UT Austin schools on multidisciplinary care and research initiatives.
    • Engage actively in department and institutional academic responsibilities.

    Requirements

    • MD or equivalent from an accredited medical school.
    • Board certified or board eligible in Urology (American Board of Urology).
    • Fellowship training in Genitourinary Reconstruction.
    • Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in the state of Texas.
    • Meets criteria for appointment as Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor at Dell Medical School.
