Registered Professional Nurse

The Registered Professional Nurse is responsible for the management of patient care, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient outcomes on the Inpatient Unit.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing education program and holds a current license as a Registered Professional Nurse in NYS
• Previous experience as a Registered Professional Nurse preferred
• Must possess a high level of interpersonal skills to interact with patients, patients' families, staff, and management
• Must be highly motivated and able to work outside normal working hours as volume demands
• Training and competency in attending to the special needs and/or behavior appropriate to the age of the patients for which care is being given
• Ability to collaborate with other health personnel
• Strong organizational skills
