Cardiovascular Unit Nurse

The Cardiovascular Unit provides professional nursing care to out-patients for planned procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab, Electrophysiology Lab, Non-Invasive Cardiology, Interventional Radiology Lab, and a variety of Radiology procedures. This dynamic 15 bay unit provides Pre- and Post-Procedural care. You will be part of a collaborative, interdisciplinary team dedicated to patient and family-centered care with responsibility for treating a diverse patient population. We are a Level I Tertiary care hospital, providing care with state-of-the-art technology. We also support the professional development of our nurses, providing opportunities for education through conferences and Board Certification. Our nurses have the opportunity to advance through the Clinical Advancement and Recognition Program (CARP). Our unit is open Monday-Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Job Description

• Provide professional nursing care to out-patients for planned procedures in various labs.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team dedicated to patient and family-centered care.
• Treat a diverse patient population in a Level I Tertiary care hospital.
• Participate in professional development opportunities through education and certification.

Requirements

• Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the State of Vermont required.
• ADN required, BSN preferred.
• Appropriate experience in specific clinical area, which varies by unit.
