Floater Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner

UPMC in Central PA is hiring a full-time Floater Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner to support UPMC Medical Group - Primary Care. This provider will float to various locations within a geographic area. The schedule is Monday-Friday varied 8:00am-5:00pm. Our Medical Group offers a robust transition to practice program which includes graduated clinical responsibility, professional mentorship, guidance from clinical educators, and enhanced educational experiences.

Job Description

• We offer a patient-centered medical home model.
• Evaluation and management of emergent patients and performing procedures as needed.
• Follow established standards and practices when performing these duties.
• UPMC Central PA utilizes system-wide Epic EMR.
• The successful candidate will be placed according to years and months of experience for employment purposes.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited CRNP program.
• BSN, MSN preferred.
• Professional nursing experience and a minimum of 2 years CRNP experience in family practice or equivalent is required.
• In-basket management on an as-needed basis.
• Local travel is required.
• This position is dependent upon the successful attainment and maintenance of hospital privileges, if applicable to the Business Unit practice.
