Orthopedic Surgeon

UPMC Altoona Elite Orthopaedics is recruiting an Orthopedic Surgeon with interest and experience in shoulder to step into a fully established practice with a high volume patient base. The practice cares for patients referred from 70+ primary care physicians and the Hospital's emergency and trauma departments.

Job Description

• Join a full-service practice with 5 orthopedic surgeons, 7 Physician Assistants, and a non-surgical sports medicine physician
• Trauma call 1:6
• Practice call 1:5
• In-office imaging and PACS/EMR system
• Newly constructed 90,000 sq ft medical office complex
• Hospital has 12 ORs; Ambulatory Surgery Center has 6 ORs

Requirements

• Must have an MD or equivalent
• Be BC/BE in Orthopedic Surgery with the ability to obtain an unrestricted PA license
