UPMC Altoona Elite Orthopaedics is recruiting a Total Joint Arthroplasty Orthopedic Surgeon to step into a fully established practice with a high volume patient base. The practice cares for patients referred from 70+ primary care physicians and the Hospital's emergency and trauma departments. Must have an MD or equivalent, be BC/BE in Orthopedic Surgery with the ability to obtain an unrestricted PA license.

Job Description

• Join an established busy joint practice with a wait list greater than 6 months.
• Current orthopedic surgeons include a trauma/fracture surgeon, a foot and ankle surgeon, a sports medicine surgeon, a hand and upper extremity surgeon, a total joints specialist, and a podiatrist.
• Additional providers include a non-surgical sports medicine physician and nine physician assistants.
• Clinical academic appointment.
• Trauma & practice call will be 1:6.
• Team physicians for local Division 1 University.
• In-office imaging and PACS/EMR system.
• Newly constructed 90,000 sq ft medical office complex.
