Job Description

• The Cardiology APP will work independently to deliver competent medical care to an age-specific population including adults and geriatric patients primarily in an outpatient clinic and alongside an Interventional Cardiologist as well as back up for inpatients as needed.
• This position will complete admission workups and consultations, function as the on-site liaison to directly receive phone calls from staff and provide orders for routine and urgent medical care needs, transfer, or discharge as appropriate and communicate directly with the physician.

Requirements

• Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or FNP with Cardiology experience preferred but not required
• New grads with Cardiology experience as RN are encouraged to apply
• NP Board Certification
• Active AZ license or willing to apply
