About the job
General Dentist/Associate
Join our dynamic team at Kitto Dental in Santa Maria, California, located in the Central Coast region of northern Santa Barbara County. Santa Maria is a gorgeous community just off US Highway 101 and a short drive from several well-known beaches and the Guadalupe-Nipomo Dunes. It is known for its family-friendly environment, outdoor recreation, immaculate wineries, unique style of BBQ, many city parks, and for some, is a popular destination for a relaxing getaway.
About Us
The team at Kitto's clinic is energetic, motivated, and works hard to provide the highest caliber experience possible for each of our patients. This mentality has helped us build long-term and loyal relationships with individuals and families in the Santa Maria area. We work hard together and have each other's backs. We strive to maintain an environment where our employees want to stay long term, grow their careers, and feel genuinely cared for.
Dr. Kitto graduated from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry and has set the standard in providing trusted dental care to families in the Central Coast community for over 35 years. From the beginning, Dr. Kitto has made it clear that his relationships with his patients are of paramount importance, and that is reflected in his clinic's success and reputation throughout the community.
Immediately upon her graduation from her father's alma mater in 2011, Dr. Kitto's daughter, Dr. Ashley Channer, moved back to Santa Maria to join her father's practice. The father-daughter duo has experienced phenomenal growth in the size of their clinic and number of patients over the last several years with no sign of letting up. Their increased popularity among families in the area seems to be their only problem, if that’s what you want to call it!
