Nursing Position
This position is accountable for providing competent nursing care and is responsible for coordination of the patient's plan of care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions that lead to established outcomes. This position practices under the direction of the designated nurse executive, within the scope of the Nursing Practice Act, and in accordance with Children's policies.
Craycroft is a 36-bed, acute care unit, caring for patients with potentially immuno-compromised conditions. This includes hematology, oncology, nephrology, rheumatology, and endocrinology patients.
Job Description
- Provide competent nursing care and coordinate the patient's plan of care
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing interventions
Requirements
- A graduate from an accredited nursing program; BSN strongly preferred
- An active California Registered Nurse licensure (RN)
- Life Support Certifications:
- Heart Code Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days
- Pediatric Emergency Assess, Resuscitation & Stabilization within 12 months of hire or transfer into position
- Experience to correlate with Clinical Ladder level
- Bilingual skills desirable
Position Details
Full Time, 69 hours per pay period, various shifts may be available.
