    Assistant/Associate Professor, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery

    The Section of Surgical Sciences is recruiting for a full-time faculty position in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Assistant/Associate Professor level. This is a clinically busy program with patient care responsibilities covering a broad scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery, with an emphasis on maxillofacial trauma, orthognathic surgery, oral and maxillofacial pathology, and reconstruction. This is a superb opportunity for a surgeon interested in a busy practice in orthognathic and TM joint surgery. Faculty responsibilities include instruction and mentoring of oral and maxillofacial surgery residents.

    Job Description

    • Cover a broad scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with an emphasis on maxillofacial trauma, orthognathic surgery, oral and maxillofacial pathology, and reconstruction
    • Provide instruction and mentoring to oral and maxillofacial surgery residents

    Requirements

    • D.D.S./D.M.D. or combined dental/M.D. degrees
    • Completion of an accredited oral and maxillofacial surgery residency program
    • Board certification or active participation in the certification process by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
