    Faculty Position in Infectious Diseases

    The Vanderbilt University Medical Center Division of Infectious Diseases is seeking clinical faculty member/s interested in a career as an academic clinician educator with administrative responsibilities in Antimicrobial Stewardship.

    Job Description

    • Provide care in the ambulatory clinic and inpatient consultative service
    • Serve as the Director of Adult Inpatient Antimicrobial Stewardship at a large academic hospital
    • Work with three dedicated inpatient Antimicrobial Stewardship pharmacists to promote optimal antibiotic utilization through routine programmatic evaluation, development and implementation of improvement initiatives, and promotion of inter-disciplinary collaboration

    Requirements

    • Clinical training and experience in Infectious Diseases in the acute care hospital and ambulatory care setting
    • At least 2 years of operational Antimicrobial Stewardship experience
    • Previous leadership experience, outstanding interpersonal skills, and a track record of scholarly work in antimicrobial resistance or stewardship is highly desirable
    • Board-certified or board-eligible in Infectious Diseases and legally authorized to work in the US
