Infectious Diseases Physician
The Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) Division of Infectious Diseases is accepting applications for full-time physicians in Infectious Diseases, starting July 2026. The ideal candidate(s) would be a physician with excellent communication skills, experience working within multidisciplinary teams, and a commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care.
Job Description
- Provide consultative care on a General Infectious Diseases inpatient service that includes Advanced Practice Professionals and ID fellows.
- Engage in educational activities for all levels of learners and participate in clinical or translational research programs.
- Attend on a dedicated musculoskeletal infections service, an HIV inpatient service, a transplant ID service, an inpatient telemedicine consult service for rural healthcare facilities, and participate in antimicrobial stewardship activities.
Requirements
- Candidates should be board-certified/board-eligible in Infectious Diseases and legally authorized to work in the US.
