    Vanderbilt Eye Institute is seeking a talented comprehensive Ophthalmologist to join the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences in Nashville, Tennessee and the surrounding region.

    Job Description

    • The Vanderbilt Eye Institute is comprised of a multi-disciplinary team of 43 ophthalmologists and optometrists, 15 researchers, and 25 trainees. Our growing department provides comprehensive, state-of-the-art clinical care at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, 12 satellite locations, and two optical centers.
    • Our comprehensive ophthalmologists provide care at Nashville metro satellite locations and rotate to the main campus biweekly. Minimal call only 2 weeks per year.
    • Great mix of private practice and academics with the opportunity to teach fellows, residents, and other learners. Participate in clinical or translational research and/or QI projects during protected academic time.

    Requirements

    • MD/DO with board certification or eligibility in Ophthalmology with a solid commitment to the Vanderbilt values of innovation, collaboration, and quality. Academic rank is commensurate with qualifications, experience, and career goals.
