Orthopedic Upper Extremity/Hand Surgeon
Vivo HealthStaff is recruiting an experienced Board Certified or Eligible Orthopedic Upper Extremity/Hand Surgeon to join and expand a collaborative orthopedic team in Michigan. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background and a commitment to excellent patient care.
Job Description
- Specialize in orthopedic care for the upper extremity, including elbow, hand, wrist, and forearm diagnosing, treating, and surgically repairing related conditions
- Join an established practice of 10 surgeons supported by trauma, sports, pediatrics, hand (plastic surgery), and podiatry specialists
- Perform a wide range of surgical procedures on the elbow, wrist, and hand, providing comprehensive pre- and post-operative care
- General orthopedic call responsibility approximately 4 calls per month
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care and high-quality outcomes
- Work within a physician-led, collaborative, and supportive healthcare culture
- Access state-of-the-art facilities, including the Stryker MAKO robot for advanced surgical procedures
- Engage in a community-centered work culture focused on patient care and continuous learning
- Affiliated with a major teaching hospital and Central Michigan University College of Medicine, supporting multiple residency programs and medical students
- Utilize EPIC EMR system for patient record management
Schedule
- Full-time clinical and surgical schedule with general orthopedic call

Requirements
- Board Certified or Eligible by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery (ABOS)
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in Orthopaedic Surgery focusing on Hand/Upper Extremities preferred
- Eligible for Michigan medical licensure
- Open to H-1B visa candidates; J-1 waivers not accepted
- Not accepting locum tenens candidates
