Psychiatric Medical Director

Vivo HealthStaff is recruiting for a Psychiatric Medical Director position at a facility in Las Cruces, NM.

Job Description

• Full-time, employed position.
• Work schedule from Monday to Friday.
• 1:5 weekend coverage.
• Once per week overnight call.
• Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner support available.
• Opportunity to work with Graduate Medical Education (GME) & medical students.
• Manageable caseload with excellent support staff.

Requirements

• Valid Medical License in New Mexico or ability to obtain one.
• Board Eligibility or Board Certification in Psychiatry.
• Active DEA.
• Experience as an adult/general psychiatrist.
• Leadership experience or qualities for the Medical Director role.
