Job Description

• Shift Length: 12- and 24-Hour Shifts. Shifts run on the 8s (36-hour shifts are allowed on an approval basis after the provider has been working at the facility for a length of time).
• Patient Volume: 9000 ER & UC Combined; 6000 for just ER only - 22 to 25 patients per 24 hours.
• Electronic Medical Records (EMR): EPIC, Dragon for dictation.
• Trauma Level: 4.

Requirements

• License: MN.
• DEA: DEA.
• Board Certification: ABEM, ABFM, ABIM (only if they have ER experience or PEDS experience) & ABPS (Specialty Boards).
• Life Certifications needed: ACLS, BLS, ATLS or CALS with trauma module, and PALS. 2 hours of stroke education required annually by NIHSS or similar.
• Will facility accept CALS in lieu of ATLS: Yes, must be CALS with trauma module.
• Covid/Flu Vaccination: Not required.
