Pulmonologist
Our independent, multi-specialty medical practice is seeking a full-time clinic-based Pulmonologist to join an established pulmonology department as a sole specialist.
Function as the organization's Respiratory Rehabilitation director.
Provide occasional support as a hospital and emergency department consultant.
Opportunity to grow the practice with outreach opportunities and over 102,000 patient catchment area.
Practice in a 6-year-old, $30 million state-of-the-art medical clinic.
Job Description
- Full spectrum of patient conditions including asthma management, cystic fibrosis, emphysema, COPD, interstitial lung disease, lung cancer, pulmonary hypertension, and sleep disorders.
- Required procedures: Bronchoscopy, Spirometry, Pulmonary Stress Tests, Sleep Studies (preferred), and Pulmonary Function Tests.
Requirements
- Qualified candidates must be board-certified or board-eligible in Pulmonary medicine.
- Candidates should have excellent communication skills and the ability and desire to interact with medical center physicians, hospital administration, outpatient office physicians and staff, and respiratory therapy staff.
EMR System
- Transitioned to EPIC in November 2022.
